Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd share price inched up 2.25% to Rs 448.05 after the company's net profit surged by 21.82% to Rs 374.85 crore, while revenue from operations increased 12.63% to Rs 2624.5 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26.
The market capitalization of Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 19.0 lakh crore, gaining 7.17%. It has slipped by 0.31% over last one week and fell by 9.02% in last one month while the market capitalization of Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd has improved by 3.49% and 6.01% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd stood at Rs 501.3 crore in Q3 FY26, surging by 406.93% year-on-year, and expanding by 21.89% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 535 crore, jumping 344.38% YoY and rallying 24.95% sequentially.
Total expenses went up by 10.28% to Rs 2123.54 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 301.5 crore, easing 2.61% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 62.07% to Rs 6790.18 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 650.96% to Rs 541.81 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA tumbled by 10842% to Rs 806.81 crore, and PBT tanked by 634.42% to Rs 723.61 crore compared to previous TTM.
Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd plunged by 15.61% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 11.80% during the same period.
